About the Artist
Nina Bovasso is a New York painter. Her work straddles cartoon imagery and tighter abstract painting. She is very skillful in not revealing too much but keeping up the energy in her wonderful overall colorful compositions. The works can appear like a race around the canvas by Bugs Bunny but at such a high speed Bugs is never identifiable. Her work relates to the tradition of abstract artists like Terry Winters and Sonia Delaunay.
