The paintings of Philadelphia artist Arden Bendler Browning give form to the chaotic experience of navigating urban environments. Her imagery comes from her own wanderings in Philadelphia neighborhoods as well as Google map and street view images. The resulting paintings capture the intricate layering of sights, thoughts, memories and the constant barrage of stimuli one experiences in the urban landscape.
