About the Artist

Nathalie Alony's 'Home Sweet Home' project is a collection of sardine-can encapsulations of everyday life, miniature modular homes in which she explores notions of intimacy and privacy. The viewing experience involved in these works is similar to that of peeping through a key hole. The viewer-as-voyeur gets a rare chance to see, and be reflected by, situations that are usually contained in those four domestic walls.
