About the Artist

Adam Cvijanovic creates what he calls 'scenic wallpaper' - grand scale landscape panoramas of mythic quality painted on Tyvek. His method is inspired by the 18th Century french tradition of printed wall landscapes for middle class consumption in imitation of the detail-rich frescoed rooms of the aristocracy of the time. Cvijanovic takes on both historically classic themes and contemporary views of the world we live in today. The West Collection proudly owns (5) of Cvijanovics large scale scene, including "Disko Bay" a view of a popular cruise ship destination in  Greenland, the MOVE row houses on Osage Avenue in Philadelphia that were later bombed or burned by police, a 180' horizontal scene of Daytona Beach at Spring Break, to name a few.
