About the Artist
Ada Trillo is a New York-based queer first-generation Mexican-American photographer whose work merges documentary and fine art to explore migration, identity, and social justice. Born in El Paso, Texas, and raised in Juárez, Mexico, she grew up crossing the Bridge of the Americas daily to attend school in El Paso while living in Juárez. Witnessing migrants risking everything to enter the United States alongside her crossings left an indelible mark on her, shaping both her artistic vision and her commitment to human rights.
